Job summary

Nouria Energy Auburn, ME is seeking a Sales Associate to run the station shift, deliver friendly service, and help grow store profitability.

You will greet customers, process transactions, promote specials, and maintain a safe, clean store. Must be 21+, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and able to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.

We require basic English literacy, ability to handle cash and arithmetic, and willingness to validate IDs for tobacco/alcohol as required.

Qualifications

• Read, understand, and write English at the eighth-grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations to make change and balance vendor check-in.
• Ability to validate identification for tobacco/alcohol per regulations.
• Can lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in varying temperatures and tolerate gasoline fumes.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate the station during the shift and contribute to store profitability.
• Communicate with management about store operations and changes.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare a shift report at the end of the shift as per guidelines.
• Provide the best customer experience and greet every customer with a smile.
• Maintain safety and appearance of the store and enforce safety policies.
