Job summary

Nouria Energy Corporation in Maine is seeking a Sales Associate to assist customers, operate the store during shifts, and promote specials while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

You will greet customers, handle transactions, ensure ID checks for tobacco/alcohol where required, and follow safety rules while assisting with daily station duties from opening to closing.

Qualifications

• Read, write and understand English at an eighth-grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations to make change and complete shift reports.
• Ability to validate identification for tobacco/alcohol sales as required by regulations.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Operate the store during shifts according to company policy to support profitability and customer service.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare a shift report at shift end and communicate with management as needed.
• Greet customers, promote specials and suggest purchases to increase sales.
• Maintain store safety and appearance and enforce environmental and hazardous material regulations.
• Respond calmly to emergencies and follow all safety procedures.
