Job summary

Trinity Health in Germantown, MD seeks a Part-time Physical Therapist to assess and treat patients across hospital units in compliance with Maryland state law and the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Practice and Ethics.

You will collaborate with physicians and staff to provide patient-centered care, handling ages from neonates to geriatrics, and adapt to varied shifts. Requirements include a PT degree, Maryland license, BLS, and acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with a B.S., M.S. or D.P.T. degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Maryland license verified by the Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Acute care experience required.
• Must be able to evaluate and treat patients in any hospital unit and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians, medical professionals, staff and families to ensure quality care.
• Treats patients of all ages from neonates through geriatrics.
• Applies growth and development principles appropriate to each patient’s age.
• May require additional training to work with specific patient groups as per department guidelines.
• Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
