Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist float to join our team in Fayetteville, NC. This per diem/casual position will have hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as needed, not to exceed 19 hours per week.

You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages, enter data accurately, collect specimens for tests, and travel to additional sites as required while delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months’+ experience as phlebotomist preferred.
• 1 year+ phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system and process billing when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs and records.
• Travel to additional sites as needed and provide excellent patient service.
