Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) for relief across Washington hospitals, including Lynnwood locations. The role offers flexibility to design your own work week with 3–5 shifts per week, typically 8–12 hours per shift, in various clinics across WA.

The position emphasizes mentoring and training teammates, patient advocacy, and accurate medical records, with compensation around $38–$41 per hour depending on credentials and experience.

Qualifications

• LVT license is mandatory.
• Emergency and specialty experience in addition to general practice.
• Possible overnight availability.
• Reliable transportation.
• Schedule flexibility.
• Availability for 3-5 shifts per week (8–12 hour shifts).
• Experience in training and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members.
• Maintain accurate medical records and health histories.
• Prepare patients for discharge and communicate discharge instructions.
• Support general anesthesia and assist in surgery.
• Use fear-free handling and maintain safety protocols.
• Complete in-patient and out-patient diagnostics as ordered.
• Maintain clean, organized treatment areas, exams, and labs.
• Collaborate with team members.
