Job summary

Inspired Homecare of Arizona, LLC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our home health team. You will provide OT services under the supervision of an OT and according to the physician’s plan of care, evaluating patient function and home safety to support independent living.

The role requires graduation from an accredited OTA program, national certification, state licensure, and at least 1 year of COTA experience, with strong communication skills and CPR

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
• Certified with the National Certification Examination of the AOTA.
• Licensed by the State Board of Healing Arts in accordance with State licensure laws.
• 1 year of clinical experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of the OT and the physician's plan of care.
• Evaluate patient function and home environment for barriers to independence as directed by the OT.
• Maintain clinical records, notes, and report changes to the OT.
• Document treatment progress and patient responses to therapy.
• Coordinate with other health care personnel to ensure aligned, efficient care.
• Participate in in-services, case conferences, and team meetings.
• Identify needs for other home care services and assist with referrals as appropriate.
