Job summary

Interim HealthCare Personal Care and Support is seeking compassionate Caregivers/HHA to provide in-home care and support to seniors, helping them stay safely at home. You’ll work with flexible assignments—full-time, part-time, or PRN—choosing schedules and locations that fit your life.

You’ll perform personal care, assistance with daily living activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and provide companionship while following care plans and reporting changes to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of prior adult caregiving experience OR completion of a CNA course/certificate.
• Two positive professional or personal references.
• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to client care.
• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and the care team.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and daily support to seniors and other clients.
• Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping, shopping, and transportation.
• Providing companionship and engaging clients in activities they enjoy, such as games, puzzles, reading, and hobbies.
• Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Providing medication reminders and reporting changes in a client's condition to your supervisor.
• Maintaining a safe home environment, including keeping pathways clear and free of hazards.
