Job summary

ThedaCare seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care at Juliette Manor in Berlin, Wisconsin. The role operates under supervision of a nurse leader and participates in evidenced-based activities to meet patient needs with compassion.

Responsibilities include basic care, vital signs, patient education, and teamwork to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes in a community health setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age, except for Peabody Manor, The Heritage or Juliette Manor
• Valid State of Wisconsin CNA Certification
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Performs delegated patient care activities using evidence-based practice for the patient population served.
• Assists in meeting the care needs of the patient in collaboration with the care team to ensure quality, cost-effective safe patient care practices.
• Demonstrates clinical expertise in the provision of care in the clinical specialty assigned and performs all functions of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Identifies ways to improve the patient’s experience of care, streamline care processes, and lower costs to improve patient, family, and team member satisfaction.
• Reinforces patient education to improve care outcomes and safe patient practices.
