Job summary

Vibrant Life Senior Living - Temperance is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to provide person-centered care in our warm senior living community. You will assist with daily living activities, support residents with dignity, and help create a home-like environment that promotes independence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in senior care or dementia care preferred.
• Compassionate, reliable, patient-focused mindset.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support residents with dementia through individualized, respectful care.
• Encourage independence and daily routines to promote wellbeing.
• Monitor safety and promptly report concerns to the care team.
• Observe and document changes in resident condition per care plans.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure well-being and safety.
