Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to protect clients across industries. You will use a shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts, building experience across multiple sites while earning $20.00 per hour, paid weekly. The role may require irregular shifts with little notice, offering growth opportunities and hands-on experience.

The position emphasizes reliability, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to different posts in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed)
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different posts.
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment.
• Strong communication skills both written and oral.
• Ability to interact cordially with the public.
• Teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions.
• Sound alarms or summon police/fire department when needed.
• Warn violators and monitor entrances/exits.
• Ensure proper access control and protect company property.
• Investigate incidents and maintain required logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications according to Post Orders.
