Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve clients across Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. You will view and claim open shifts via our exclusive platform, building a schedule around your availability and gaining diverse site experience.

This role may require irregular shifts with little advance notice, offering hands-on experience and growth opportunities in a dynamic environment. Pay rate is $24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Valid driver's license if operating company or customer vehicles.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed where required).
• Ability to operate radios and monitor consoles; communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or vehicle.
• Watch for unusual conditions creating security concerns.
• Sound alarms or summon police/fire as needed.
• Warn violators of rules and monitor entrances/exits.
• Permit entry and observe for authorized removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and maintain post logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders.
