Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve and safeguard clients across Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. You’ll use our shift-pickup platform to view open shifts, building your schedule around your availability and gaining site experience across industries.

The role may require irregular shifts with little notice. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with background checks and drug screening. Prior security experience is not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable security experience.
• Background check and drug screening required per policy.
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed) and have a valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and document incidents clearly.
• Demonstrates professional, courteous communication with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorised presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Permit authorised persons to enter property and monitor access points.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper client procedures.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
