Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer. This role uses our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts across multiple sites, offering flexibility to build a schedule that fits your availability while gaining varied site experience. As a Flex Officer, you may be called to work irregular shifts with little notice.

A high school diploma or equivalent and a background check are required. The position pays $20.50 per hour and includes benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age, or 21 if armed where required by state.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
