Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve and safeguard clients across industries. You’ll use our exclusive shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on your availability, building a schedule that fits you while gaining site experience.

The position offers hands-on experience and growth opportunities, with the Flex Officer potentially working irregular shifts with little notice. Pay is $20.00 per hour, and pay is weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check is required as a condition of employment per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required as allowed by law.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially with the public.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions.
• Permit entry and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft of company property.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents and suspicious activity with logs.
• Aid customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
