Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve clients across healthcare, education, finance, and more. Use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on your availability, building a schedule that fits your life while gaining site experience.

This part-time role offers pay at $17 per hour and opportunities to learn on diverse sites; you may work irregular shifts with little notice, providing flexible security careers.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Able to operate radio/telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially with the public and communicate effectively.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rules and carry out procedures.
• Permit authorized entry and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property.
• Investigate incidents and maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications as required.
