Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer - Fulfillment Center. The role uses our exclusive shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on availability, providing the freedom to build a schedule while gaining site experience across various industries.

The position may require irregular shifts with little notice; compensation is $18.74 per hour. Eligibility includes a high school diploma or equivalent and a background check, with benefits including health

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Background check per laws; drug screen per law.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Reliable and able to adapt to different post assignments.
• Able to operate radio/console equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Strong verbal and written communication; accuracy in reporting.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department if needed.
• Warn violators of infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit entry and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect property and ensure proper removal.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents and incidents; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
