Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
• Ability to operate radio/communications equipment
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department when needed
• Warn violators of rule infractions
• Permit authorized entry and monitor entrances/exits
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors politely
• Make emergency notifications per site post orders
