Allied Universal, North America''s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer in Spokane, WA. You will work a range of shifts with our shift-pickup platform to build a flexible schedule across multiple sites and industries.

This role offers hands-on security experience with growth opportunities, serving healthcare, education, and finance clients, and potential for irregular shifts with little notice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license to operate company or customer vehicles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• No prior security experience required.
• Must be at least 18 (21 if armed).
• Reliability and adaptability to different posts.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Active listening and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure authorized removal.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
