Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring a FLEX Security Officer on a part-time basis in the Fort Worth area. The role involves rover patrols, gatehouse access control, front desk duties, and CCTV oversight to deter theft and ensure resident safety.

Candidates must be 21+, hold a Level II Noncommissioned Security License, and have reliable transportation. The position requires flexibility for 2nd and 3rd shifts and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid state licensing - Level II Noncommissioned Security License.
• Reliable transportation.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (MVR, background and drug).
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and/or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and/or other criminal behavior.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and/or in possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
• Other duties to be determined by management.
