Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves patrolling areas in public rights of way, engaging with the public, and responding to calls for service.

Working weekends, evenings and holidays may be required, with a focus on safety and customer service. Candidates must hold a Texas Level II Guard License, be 21+, maintain a clean driving record, and be able to perform extended patrols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Valid Texas Level II Guard License.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
• Ability to perform extended patrols and physical activity as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of areas in the public right of way to identify potential safety and security risks
• Maintain a visible presence and engage in professional public interactions
• Document all interactions in a clear and concise written report, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
• Communicate and pass on all pertinent information to fellow team members, other safety teams, and the client.
• Monitor and/or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
• Other duties to be determined by management
