Job summary

Marksman Security LLC in Plano, TX seeks a Flexible Security Officer to join our front-line team. You will perform rover, gatehouse, and front desk duties across multiple sites, with weekend, evening, and holiday availability required.

This role rewards reliability, strong customer service, and professionalism. Training and licensing assistance may be available; a $50 sign-on bonus is offered for active Guard Card holders after 90 days.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
High school degree or equivalent.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Basic computer skills.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
Minimum of one year of security experience.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).

Responsibilities

Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers when necessary.
Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of arrival.
Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies.
Monitor cameras and alarms.
Patrol the perimeter to identify safety and security risks.
Warn violators of infractions.
Respond to distress calls and emergencies.
Identify and report safety or security concerns promptly.
Ensure timely submission of required documentation.
