Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across multiple sectors. You will access a shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts that fit your availability, gaining site experience across industries while building a flexible, rewarding security career.

The role offers hands-on experience, growth opportunities, and the chance to supplement income with irregular shifts that may occur on short notice. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 5 years of verifiable experience also acceptable.
• Must be able to operate radio/console equipment and interact with the public.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when required.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper client protocols.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
