Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve clients across industries. You will use our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts and build a schedule that fits your availability, gaining valuable site experience across healthcare, education, finance, and more.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Must have a high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience, valid driver’s license, and be able to pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check will be conducted per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed).
• Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Excellent written and oral communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders.
