Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Flex Officer - Distribution Center. The Flex Officer will serve clients across various industries and use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on availability, building a schedule that works for you while gaining site experience.

You may be called to work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice, with a pay rate of $18.74 per hour. Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit authorized entry and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site Post Orders.
