Job summary

Allied Universal in Louisville, KY is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer. Starting pay is $17.63 per hour. The Flex Officer will serve clients across industries using our shift-pickup platform to view and claim shifts, building a schedule that fits availability.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation as per law; criminal histories considered.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Reliability and adaptability for different post assignments.
• Operate radio/telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Effective oral and written communication; clear writing.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Assess and evaluate situations quickly and accurately.
• Mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy.
• Teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions and safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rules and permit entry as required.
• Observe entrants and monitor entrances/exits.
• Protect company property and ensure proper removal of items per client rules.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors politely.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
