Job summary

Kelly Education is hiring substitute school nurses for Fountain Lake School District. Substitutes include LPNs and RNs who provide health care to students, perform exams, maintain health records, administer immunizations, and promote healthy habits in the classroom.

Requirements: 18+, high school diploma or GED, LPN or RN license, Arkansas ED background clearance (out-of-pocket). Pay rates: LPN $17/hr; RN $20/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Arkansas ED background clearance is required (out-of-pocket).

Responsibilities

• Provides health care services to students and evaluates health status.
• Collaborates with school personnel to address social, emotional, and physical needs.
• Administers immunizations and maintains health records.
• Counsels students on good health habits and maintains a safe environment.
• Monitors dispensing of medications per district policy and ensures documentation.
• Coordinates with office staff and parents regarding medical exclusions.
