Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold PA RN license or PA LPN license.
• Validity of CPR certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the School Nurse in district health services and meet student needs.
• Provide acute care/first aid to students and staff; perform health screenings and refer as needed.
• Maintain health records, communicate with parents/guardians and staff about health conditions.
• Dispense medication as prescribed and coordinate school physical/dental examinations.
• Conduct lice checks on elementary level students and perform routine AED maintenance.
• Stock medical and clerical supplies and perform other health services duties as assigned.
