The Learning Lamp is seeking a Substitute School Nurse to support students in multiple school districts. The role is part-time with hours tied to school schedules and a daily pay range of $150–$200. Requirements include an active RN license, CPR/First Aid, and required state clearances.

Responsibilities include health assessments, medication administration, health education, and collaboration with school staff to ensure student well-being within a compliant, caring environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license/certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Background check and health screenings completed as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments and screenings as required.
• Monitor and document students' health conditions.
• Administer first aid and emergency care as needed.
• Administer prescribed medications to students and maintain records.
• Provide health education and wellness initiatives.
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and staff about health concerns.
• Maintain confidential health records and ensure compliance.
• Conduct vision, hearing, and other mandated screenings.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and participate in IEP/504 meetings.
• Implement infection control measures.
