Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Observes health needs of students, especially in special education.
• Screens students for health defects and conducts screenings.
• Administers medications and oversees procedures as directed by physicians and nurse staff.
• Maintains up-to-date health records and immunization records for students.
• Provides health-related lessons and health care training as needed.
• Ensures confidentiality and professional ethics in all health matters.
