Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking a dependable Substitute Kitchen Helper to support our school food service program on an as-needed basis at Broken Bow schools. You will step in when regular team members are absent, assist with food preparation, serving students, and keep the kitchen clean and organized.

This flexible role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, opportunities to work with different teams, and a direct positive impact on students' day while upholding safety and quality standards in

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis at multiple school locations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients, and scale for large batches.
• Dependability, integrity, and commitment to customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing and bending.

Responsibilities

• Fill in at school kitchens when team members are out.
• Help prep and serve menu items, keep station stocked.
• Follow serving-size guidelines and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage using FIFO.
• Assist with basic logs and production records.
• Adapt to different school locations and kitchen environments.
• Support teammates and train new staff as needed.
