Job summary

Five Star Nursing seeks compassionate LPNs to support skilled nursing facilities with follow-through of physician plans under RN supervision. We offer flexible scheduling across days, evenings, nights and weekends, plus paid orientations and direct deposit weekly pay.

LPN requirements include active New York licensure, CPR certification, ability to meet state and federal requirements for employment in a nursing facility, strong patient assessment, clear communication, and demonstrated clinical

Qualifications

• Currently holds an active LPN license to work in New York.
• CPR Certification (BLS or ALS accepted)
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Demonstrated clinical competency

Responsibilities

• Instruct patients and their families in proper treatment.
• Help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health.
• Assess and record symptoms and/or reactions and progress in patients.
• Administer patient medications as prescribed by the treating physician.
• Assist in rehabilitation in accordance with the physician's established plan of treatment.
