Job summary

Five Star Nursing is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for Skilled Nursing Facilities in New York. You will follow the physician-established plan of treatment under RN supervision and support patients, families, and communities.

Hourly pay rate: $43. We offer flexible scheduling (Days, Evenings, Nights, and Weekends), paid orientations, direct deposit, paid sick leave per NY law, 24-hour on-call service, insurance options, and lucrative referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Currently holds an active LPN license to work in New York.
• CPR Certified (BLS or ALS accepted).
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
• Strong patient assessment skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated clinical competency.

Responsibilities

• Instruct patients and their families in proper treatment.
• Help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health.
• Assess and record symptoms and/or reactions and progress in patients.
• Administer patient medications as prescribed by the treating physician.
• Assist in rehabilitation in accordance with the physician's established plan of treatment.
