Five Star Nursing is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for Skilled Nursing Facilities in New York. You will follow physician plans and work under RN supervision, providing compassionate care to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active New York LPN license.
• Current CPR certification (BLS or ALS accepted).
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
• Strong patient assessment skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated clinical competency.

Responsibilities

• Instruct patients and their families in proper treatment.
• Help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health.
• Assess and record symptoms and/or reactions and progress in patients.
• Administer patient medications as prescribed by the treating physician.
• Assist in rehabilitation in accordance with the physician's established plan of treatment.
