Job summary

ALDI is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Grand Rapids, MI for a part-time role. The position covers unloading inbound trailers, replenishing pick zones, staging outbound pallets, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.

You will work across core distribution center functions in a fast-paced environment. The role requires 18+ years old, the ability to lift up to 55 pounds, and comfortable working in cooler/freezer zones.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to lift up to 55 pounds regularly.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically active environment, including cooler/freezer zones.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inbound Unloading & Put-Away: unload cases and pallets from inbound trailers, scan and stage for put-away.
• Pick Zone Replenishment: monitor and refill pick zone slots, prioritizing fast-moving items.
• Order Staging & Pallet Building: stage pallets in outbound lanes and build pallets to load stability standards.
• Quality & Damage Checks: inspect for damage or expiration and quarantine flagged items.
• General Warehouse Support: keep aisles and docks clean and support sanitation or inventory tasks.
