Job summary

WESTCARE KENTUCKY INC is seeking a Transportation and Reception Associate in Pikeville, KY to support transportation operations and assist in participant reception within a treatment facility.

The role requires a High School diploma, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including on-call coverage, while upholding WestCare policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in social/behavioral sciences or a related field.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to work well individually and in a team.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to exercise good judgement and discretion.

• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises program participants under the direction of the Program Coordinator/Director and reports unusual changes.
• Assists in transportation needs of the agency.
• Assists in reception of new program participants.
• Facilitates mentoring, discipline, safety, and shift/overnight observation of participants.
• Uses approved crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate situations to ensure safety.
• Participates in 24/7 coverage with a flexible schedule and tracks hours.
• Monitors participant whereabouts and ensures proper paperwork for leaving the property.
• Supports recreational activities for participants and keeps facilities clean.
• Assists other WestCare staff to promote cooperation and professionalism.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.
