Micro Center is seeking a Retail Sales and Merchandising Associate in Columbus, OH. You will assist customers with computer and electronics purchases in a high‑volume store, while maintaining product knowledge and participating in vendor and product training.

The role requires strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a passion for technology, with shifts before/after store hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with one‑year related experience in a customer service or related role strongly preferred
• Passion for technology and commission-based sales experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Flexible shifts before/after store hours, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with computer and electronics purchases in a high‑volume store
• Maintain product knowledge and participate in sales, training, and merchandising activities
• Maintain clean work area and perform merchandising tasks like processing freight and markdowns
• Support open/close procedures and store operations with loss prevention awareness
