Job summary

Micro Center in Columbus, OH is seeking a Retail Sales and Merchandising Associate to assist customers with computer and electronics purchases in a high-volume store. You will maintain product knowledge, engage in vendor training and support merchandising activities daily.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, and a willingness to work varied shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. Physical fitness is needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with one-year related experience in a customer service or related role strongly preferred
• Passion for technology including computers/electronics & commissioned sales experience is a definite plus
• Sincere interest in helping customers select products that meet their needs
• Physical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs., stand for prolonged periods of time
• Shifts include hours before and after the store is open to the public and may also include mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills combined with ability to multi-task and adjust priorities
