Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Clearances (Act 24, Act 34, Act 114, Act 151, Act 168) and TB test completed.
• Experience assisting in K-12 settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups.
• Assist teacher with classroom management and supervision of the class.
• Assist with administrative duties such as setting up equipment and preparing materials.
• Supervise students in the cafeteria, halls, and during activities.
• Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs.
• Support students with special needs following IEPs/504 plans.
• Perform other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and school administration.
