Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Complete PA Act 24, Act 34, Act 114, Act 151 and Act 168 clearances.
• TB test may be required; physical may be needed in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups.
• Assist with classroom management and general supervision of the class.
• Assist with administrative duties such as setting up equipment and preparing materials.
• Supervise students in the cafeteria, playground, specials, hallways, field trips, and before/after school programs.
• Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs.
• Support students with special needs following IEPs/504 Plans.
• Perform other duties as directed by the teacher and school administration.
