Hudson House, a Vandelay Companies concept, is seeking a Server Assistant to support service staff and maintain a welcoming, clean dining environment. You will anticipate guest needs, support teammates, and ensure timely food and beverage service while upholding hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and work ethic.
• Team-oriented with punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while remaining positive, respectful, professional and guest-focused.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• TABC Certification as required.
• Certified for food and alcohol service as required by State and Local Agencies.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas.
• Assist servers, bartenders and hosts when needed and understand menu items.
• Run food from the kitchen to guest tables after ensuring accuracy.
• Run beverages from the bar to guest tables and ensure beverages are full.
• Remove used dishes and silverware between courses and after guests leave.
• Communicate with server, bartenders, and hostess for efficient seating and guest service; maintain cleanliness and reset tables.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
