Job summary

Story Land in New Hampshire seeks a friendly Rides Host to operate rides, monitor safety, and provide outstanding guest service. You will greet guests, perform safety checks, enforce height and safety rules, and respond to inquiries throughout shifts.

Knowledge of park operations, strong communication, and a willingness to learn iROC training are valued. A flexible schedule with evenings, weekends, and holidays is typical, with benefits for team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; bilingual skills a plus.
• Must be at least 16 years old and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Safety-oriented mindset and ability to follow instructions and regulations.
• Willingness to learn and work well with others in a guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests in a fun, professional manner.
• Supervise, monitor, and operate rides in accordance with safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections, test rides, and enforce height/weight/age requirements.
• Communicate directions via microphone and assist guests while maintaining safety.
• Report issues promptly and help manage ride operations during opening and closing.
