First Convenience Bank is hiring a teller to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced sales environment. You will handle deposits and withdrawals, process transactions, and promote bank products while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role requires teamwork, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and a focus on customer success. The position involves serving a diverse customer base, including a large Spanish-speaking population, with opportunities to cross-sell services and advance

Competenze

• Minimum age 18
• High school diploma or equivalent or currently in high school
• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Background investigation required
• Ability to work well with coworkers in a team environment

Mansioni

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions in a high-volume sales environment
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products/services
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions
• Achieve monthly new account production targets
• Prospect in-store for sales opportunities
• Process deposits and cash withdrawals and balance daily operations
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts, and review endorsements
• Guard against counterfeit checks and verify IDs
• Enter transactions and issue receipts
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish-speaking customers
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
• Approval limits based on authority levels
