Assisting Hands St George is seeking caring, dependable caregivers to support seniors in their homes in Hurricane, Utah. The role focuses on practical assistance as well as meaningful companionship to help clients stay safe and independent at home.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks).
• Reliable transportation, valid insurance, and good driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test (or obtain within 2 weeks).
• Previous home care or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Helping with mobility and safe transfers
• Meal preparation and nutritional support
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Supporting clients living with Alzheimer's or dementia
• Documenting care using our AxisCare app
• Following safety and infection-control procedures
