Job summary

FCBI is hiring a bank teller in Tucson, AZ to provide exceptional customer service while handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume branch. You will evaluate customer needs, cross-sell banking products, and process deposits, withdrawals, and wires, while following bank policies.

You must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays; background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Background investigation required.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Achieve monthly new account production targets.
• Participate in in-store prospecting as needed.
• Process deposits and payouts accurately and balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks for deposits; verify amounts.
• Detect counterfeit checks and IDs.
• Enter transactions and issue receipts.
• Sell bank services: money orders, cashier\'s checks, wires, CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish-speaking customers.
• Attend to other tasks as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Approval limits based on authority levels.
