Job summary

Auberge Bowie House is seeking a Cocktail Server to join our luxury property. You will take orders, prepare and serve drinks and foods, and ensure guests receive attentive service in line with hotel standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of menu items, abiding by state liquor regulations, and delivering warm, professional service to guests in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry; Bartender preferred.
• Good knowledge of spirits, beer and wine; luxury hospitality property experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders and serve to guests in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Retrieve and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food according to department standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, prices, preparation methods, and presentation.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and handle complaints following procedures.
