Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a pediatric physical therapist to provide home-based early intervention services across California. The role focuses on conducting developmental assessments, following IFSPs, and coaching families to support progress in infants and toddlers with developmental delays.

You will work within natural environments, collaborate with families, and help children reach specific developmental goals while maintaining HIPAA compliance and professionalism.

Qualifications

• California Physical Therapy (DPT) license required.
• Pediatric experience in Early Intervention preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide PT services using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow IFSPs and collaborate with families to reach developmental goals.
• Use family-centered coaching to boost caregiver confidence and skills.
• Deliver services in the child’s natural environment, including homes and community settings.
• Perform re-assessments and write progress reports bi-annually.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
