Job summary

Naperville Park District is seeking a Player Assistant under the Assistant Golf Professional to help run the day-to-day outside operations of the golf course and practice facility. You will monitor group starting times and safety, verify payments, inform groups of policies, maintain cleanliness, uphold customer service standards, and assist staff with special duties.

Must be 18+, HS diploma, and obtain First Aid/CPR/AED within two months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain First Aid, CPR, and AED within two months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record group starting time and safety of golf patrons, recording cart numbers if applicable.
• Verify payment of appropriate fees.
• Inform groups of policies.
• Maintain cleanliness of water coolers, washrooms, and overall course.
• Demonstrate and support District customer service standards.
• Assist related staff with special duties assigned by Assistant Golf Professional.
• Other duties as assigned.
