Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Sales Ambassador to engage customers, sample products, and share knowledge in a fast-paced, friendly environment. You will help meet sales goals by promoting items and encouraging trials, while maintaining food safety and practicing excellent customer service.

You will also coordinate event activities, assist with setup and takedown, manage sample inventory, and complete online trainings to grow your product knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Energetic, customer-focused and able to engage shoppers.
• Able to follow cooking directions and stand at a tasting station for long periods.
• Experience in customer service, sales, marketing or event planning is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage customers while sampling products.
• Prepare and serve food using indicated equipment following directions.
• Cut and sample produce and grocery items, promote products to customers.
• Help achieve sales goals by sharing products and encouraging trials.
• Coordinate events: setup, communication, inventory, and recap reports.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to food safety guidelines.
