Job summary

Goldsboro Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Goldsboro, NC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide comprehensive therapy under supervision. You will contribute to patient treatment plans, document progress, and support the rehab team in a busy long-term care setting.

Requirements include a BA or Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy, current NC licensure, and preferred SNF experience. The role offers a flexible schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associates degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the AOTA.
• Holds current license and/or registration in the state NC.
• SNF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of an OTR and state guidelines.
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient’s daily participation and progress and obtain OTR co-signature.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, re-certifications and discharges.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings as indicated by Supervisor.
• Act as a rehab delegate to the interdisciplinary team.
