Job summary

Slice House in Riverside, CA is seeking a friendly Cashier to join our team. You will take and fulfill orders, process payments, and provide menu recommendations to guests, ensuring accurate transactions and timely service.

Balance cash drawers, verify ages for alcohol, and upsell items while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment. Previous cashier experience and a Food Handler Certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Certification required.
• Cashier and restaurant experience a plus!

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant.
• Place orders for customers in-person and over the phone; upsell and maintain knowledge of menu and promotions.
• Accurately process cash, credit card and gift card transactions; verify age for alcohol purchases.
• Answer questions from customers and make menu recommendations.
• Balance the register at the end of the shift and hand over to the next.
• Maintain a clean Front of House and follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
